  1. European Campaign (ECM)

     

    History

    Operation Black Forest was a combat operation for Armed Assault 3 during May through September 2015 including eight (8) combat missions and four (4) combat phases

    Operation Red Leopard was a combat operation for Armed Assault 3 during December 2016 through March 2017 including fourteen (14) combat missions, seven (7) combat missions per company.

    Operation Blue Giant was a combat operation for Armed Assault 3 during April through December 2022 including seventeen (17) presence patrols and  nineteen (19) combat missions.

    Prerequisites

    The European Campaign Medal (ECM) shall be awarded to soldiers who deploy on any operation designated under this theater.

    • Operation Black Forest

    • Operation Blue Giant

  2. Korean Service (KS)

     

    Prerequisites

    The Korean Service Medal (KS) shall be awarded to soldiers who deploy on any operation designated under this theater.

  3. Southwest Asia Service (SWA)

     

    Prerequisites

    The Southwest Asia Service Medal (SWA) shall be awarded to soldiers who deploy on any operation designated under this theater.

  4. Kosovo Campaign (KOS)

     

    Prerequisites

    The Kosovo Campaign Medal (KOS) shall be awarded to soldiers who deploy on any operation designated under this theater.

  5. Afghanistan Campaign (ACM)

     

    History

    Operation Titan was a combat operation for Armed Assault 3 during 2014.

    Operation Freedom Sentinel was a combat operation for Armed Assault 3 during October 2017 through October 2018 including forty seven (47) combat missions and four (4) combat phases

    Prerequisites

    The Afghanistan Campaign Medal (ACM) shall be awarded to soldiers who deploy on any operation designated under this theater.

    • Operation Titan 
    • Operation Freedom Sentinel

  6. Iraq Campaign (ICM)

     

    History

    Operation Bronze Fire was a combat operation for Armed Assault 3 during January through September 2016 including forty four (44) combat missions and two (2) combat phases. Twenty Two (22) combat missions per company.

    Operation Thin Ice was a combat operation for Armed Assault 3 during January through December 2020 including twenty six (26) combat missions. 

    Prerequisites

    The Iraq Campaign Medal (ICM) shall be awarded to soldiers who deploy on any operation designated under this theater.

  7. Operation Inherent Resolve Campaign (IRCM)

     

    Prerequisites

    The Operation Inherent Resolve Campaign Medal (IRCM) shall be awarded to soldiers who deploy on any operation designated under this theater.

  8. Kuwait Liberation-Kuwait (KUKLMDL)

     

    Prerequisites

    The Kuwait Liberation-Kuwait Medal (KUKLMDL) shall be awarded to soldiers who deploy on any operation designated under this theater.

  9. Pakistan Campaign (PCM)

     

    History

    Operation Swammer II was a joint combat operation for Armed Assault 3 during November 2015 including 3 joint combat missions. 

    Prerequisites

    The Pakistan Campaign Medal (PCM) shall be awarded to soldiers who deploy on any operation designated under this theater.

  10. African Campaign (ACM)

     

    History

    Operation Silver Guardian was a combat operation for Armed Assault 3 during April through November 2021 including twenty one (21) combat missions. 

    Prerequisites

    The African Campaign Medal (ACM) shall be awarded to soldiers who deploy on any operation designated under this theater.
